Het Museum of Obsolete Media bevat meer dan 700 nog in gebruik zijnde en verouderde fysieke mediadragers. Onderverdeeld in audio-, video-, film- en datadragers, geeft het een beschrijving en een afbeelding van de dragers. Ook wordt er ingegaan op preservering van de dragers en hoe te bepalen welke drager prioriteit heeft bij conservering of migratie naar een andere drager.
